Counselling Services
Tai Poutini Polytechnic wants to ensure the success of our students. We understand that at times problems will arise that could affect your studies.
Counselling can help with many issues, including:
- Stress (personal or study)
- Relationship concerns
- Addictions (Alcohol, Drugs, Gambling)
- Anxiety/Depression
- Conflict resolution
- Anger
- Goal setting/decision making
- Grief
- Harassment
Ākonga (learner) Counselling Service
Off-campus counselling services are available for students currently enrolled in any Tai Poutini Polytechnic programme.
All learners can access free counselling and psychologist support. Counselling is provided either by telephone or online (Zoom or MS Teams). This service is provided at no cost to the student.
