This short course is a pre-employment course for those with little experience or no experience of handling a quad bike. This short course provides an entry level to employment and prerequisite unit standard leading to further quad bike training leading to employment in the primary sector. While it is limited to quad bike operation on flat terrain only, students are able to demonstrate knowledge of: the safe operation of a quad bike; quad bike riding contingency procedures; and the safe operation of a quad bike with trailed equipment and a mounted load.

Entry Requirements:

- Candidates should hold a minimum of a Class 1 Restricted Drivers Licence.
