Core Elements

The aim of this course is to provide you with the knowledge and skills required to safely transport Dangerous Goods by road or to safely load and secure Dangerous Goods.

• NZQA unit standard 16718: Demonstrate knowledge of law and practice for the transport of Dangerous goods by road, this Unit Standard will be added to your record of learning on NZQA.

Pre-Requisites

• You must hold a current New Zealand restricted driver’s license

Entry Criteria

• Applicants for whom English is a second language must meet IELTS (or equivalent) Level 5.5.

• Experience of handling Dangerous Goods and/or driving vehicles loaded with Dangerous Goods.
