Kā Pūtea Scholarships
Kā Pūtea Scholarships are available to all registered Ngāi Tahu members who are currently enrolled and studying towards a NZQA recognised tertiary qualification or an international equivalent. The scholarships aim to support higher learning and help students connect with their Ngāi Tahutanga.
Kā Pūtea Scholarships are awarded based on applicants’ academic achievements and their engagement with whānau, hapū or iwi-related activities. To find out more information click here.
Greymouth Rotary Tertiary Scholarship
Applications are invited from persons enrolled in or considering undertaking tertiary or further studies for the 2023 year. Greymouth Rotary is a service organisation and scholarship preference will be given to persons who are involved in and give back to our community, who have shown a community mindedness through giving back as well as participation. Applicants should reside in or have home connections to the Grey District.
Applicants should be under 25 years of age and be studying at University, Polytechnic or towards a Trade. Applicants may be studying at any level within these organisations, this scholarship is not restricted to first year students.
This scholarship will be for a minimum of $1,000 and there may be more than one scholarship awarded. .
