Process for Domestic Students

Outlined below is the enrolment process for domestic (New Zealand) students when applying for a programme at Tai Poutini Polytechnic (TPP):

Step 1 - Student completes application form and sends to TPP, contact details can be found here

Step 2 - TPP staff assess the application. Students may be requested via phone or email to attend an interview with the relevant programme Leader or Tutor.

Step 3 - If you are accepted, TPP will send you an Offer of Place. Alternatively, if a student is declined, TPP will advise you in writing.

Step 4 - Student accepts place and returns:

  • Signed offer of place instead of an acceptance form
  • Any additional documents or information requested in offer letter instead of acceptance letter

    If a student declines their place they must advise TPP in writing.

Step 5 - TPP sends a receipt.

Step 6 - TPP sends orientation information prior to programme commencement.

Step 7 - Students begin programme of study on the designated start date.
