Outlined below is the enrolment process for domestic (New Zealand) students when applying for a programme at Tai Poutini Polytechnic (TPP):

Step 1 - Option 1: Student completes application form and sends to TPP, contact details can be found here

            Option 2: Apply Online

Step 2 - TPP staff assess the application. Students may be requested via phone or email to attend an interview with the relevant programme HOD or Programme Leader.

Step 3 - If you are accepted TPP will send you an acceptance letter and acceptance form. Alternatively if a student is declined TPP will advise you in writing.

Step 4 - Student accepts place and returns:

  • an acceptance form
  • fee payment (student loans and allowances are available)
  • any additional documents or information requested in acceptance letter

If a student declines their place they must advise TPP in writing.

Step 5 - TPP sends a receipt

Step 6 - TPP sends orientation information prior to programme commencement

Step 7 - Students begin programme of study on the designated start date
