Greymouth

i.      Hours of opening

Monday-Thursday - 8.30 am - 5pm

Friday - 8.30 am - 4.00 pm

ii.      Circulation/borrowing

Books and magazines may be borrowed for three weeks at a time, and may be renewed if the item is not required by another user.  All items are to be returned to the library desk.  A fine of up to $1.00 per week per item may be levied against overdue items. You are responsible for lost or damaged items.  These must be reported to library staff and you may be required to meet the cost of replacement or repair.  Please note:  All borrowed items must be returned at the end of your course. You may not be allowed to graduate if there are any outstanding items on your library card.

 iii.      Interloan services

Where onsite resources cannot satisfy your requirements for information, we may be able to obtain resources from other libraries on your behalf. This is a free service providing your request is course related.

iv.      West Coast students studying at other tertiary institutions

Tai Poutini Polytechnic (TPP) library in Greymouth offers a free service to all West Coast tertiary students, regardless of which institution they are enrolled at or what course they are doing.  You are welcome to register as a Guest User, which will give you access to our book and magazine collection, research databases, our computer suite and internet allowance, and photocopier and scanning facilities

Auckland MAINZ

i.      Hours of opening

Monday-Friday - 8.30 am – 6.00 pm

ii.      Circulation/borrowing

The MAINZ Auckland campus has an extensive range of CDs, DVDs, magazines and books on all aspects of the music industry, and several computers for your use. Books and magazines may be borrowed for three weeks at a time, and may be renewed if the item is not required by another user.  All items are to be returned to the library desk.  A fine of up to $1.00 per week per item may be levied against overdue items. You are responsible for lost or damaged items.  These must be reported to library staff and you may be required to meet the cost of replacement or repair.  Please note:  All borrowed items must be returned at the end of your course. You may not be allowed to graduate if there are any outstanding items on your library card

Christchurch MAINZ

Monday-Friday - 9.00 am – 5.00 pm

 ii.      Borrowing

The MAINZ Christchurch Campus has a selection of CDs, DVDs, magazines and books. You may also request books from MAINZ in Auckland. Books and magazines may be borrowed for three weeks at a time, and may be renewed if the item is not required by another user.  All items are to be returned to reception or administration staff.  A fine of up to $1.00 per week per item may be levied against overdue items. You are responsible for lost or damaged items.  These must be reported to library staff and you may be required to meet the cost of replacement or repair.  Please note:  All borrowed items must be returned at the end of your course. You may not be allowed to graduate if there are any outstanding items on your library card

 iii.      Interloan services

Where onsite resources cannot satisfy your requirements for information, your next contact is Auckland MAINZ. Talk to your library or reception staff to arrange this.  Greymouth librarians may be able to obtain resources from other libraries on your behalf.
