Established in 1989, Tai Poutini Polytechnic – or, as we like to say, TPP – is a Government funded tertiary education institution.

We offer a wide range of practical programmes, with a focus on vocational education and applied skills offered throughout New Zealand.

Following the introduction of the Bachelor of Musical Arts in 2014 and the Graduate Diploma in Business and Enterprise in 2015 and Bachelor of Audio Engineering and Production 2016.
